The Power of Serving Others: Caring Catalog 2019
In 2019, 32 BIO Girls sites impacted 18,000 people through service projects. Help BIO Girls fund service projects for 55 sites in 2020.
Sanford Health Partnership
The vision of Sanford Health is to improve the human condition at every stage of life through exceptional care, spiritual enrichment, innovation and discovery. Since 2015, Sanford has invested in the well-being of adolescent girls in our region as a Community Partner sponsor of the BIO Girls program.
Become a Change-Maker
Each BIO Girls location is powered by volunteers – including a volunteer Site Director that makes it all happen. And it all starts with a person like you saying – “Why not me?” Learn more about how to become a change-maker in your community!
BIO Girls Impact
In 2018, a partnership was established with Anita Gust, Ph.D. Assistant Professor, Exercise Science and Wellness at the University of Minnesota-Crookstonat to conduct independent research measuring the change in self-esteem of participants. In 2019, the partnership was expanded to include a collaboration with Darcie Sell, Ph.D. Associate Professor and Chair, Psychology at Concordia College.
Choice Bank: Putting Adolescent Girls First
In 2019, Choice made the decision to increase their support of the BIO Girls program in an important capacity, by funding low-income participant's scholarships.

Diversifying for Greater Impact

Servant Leadership

You Be You 2019
Friday, April 5th was a night to remember. It was a night of support for the nearly 1,200 girls that will be impacted this year and the 2,200 girls that will be impacted next year by the BIO Girls program.

That Won't Win State
My daughter is in 7th grade and as a class project, groups are encouraged to come up with a product that solves a common problem. Think Shark Tank for 13-year-olds. I suggested that their group create a stocking holder with an adjustable arm. Great idea, right? The response from Olivia, “That wouldn’t win at state."
Just Be Girls: Connection, Balance and Purpose.
