BIO Girls Refund Policy

Objective

BIO Girls donation and registration policy ensures fair and transparent processing of requests for refunds of donations or registrations.  

BIO Girls will review each request for refund of a donation or registration fees and may request further information or documents to complete the request. 

BIO Girls is not obligated to make refunds and may, in its discretion, decline any requests for refund of donations, especially if a donation receipt has been issued. 


Donation Refund Request Procedure

BIO Girls expects that all donors will exercise due care and diligence while making donations, however, it also recognizes that a donation may be made erroneously, or a donor may change their mind.

The following steps are required if you would like your donation to BIO Girls to be refunded: 

  • The BIO Girls Donation Refund Request must be completed in order for the BIO Girls team to consider your donation refund request. 

    • The request for refund must be received by BIO Girls within seven days from the date the donation was received

    • BIO Girls is unable to process refund requests for donations made more than 30 days prior to receiving the donation refund request form. 

    • If the donation was made via check, a standard 30-day waiting period for refund from the date of deposit is required. 

  • If applicable, transaction fees will be deducted from the refund amount 

  • All donation refund requests will be reviewed and approved by the BIO Girls Chief Operating Officer.

Registration Cancellation and Refund Request Procedure

BIO Girls will issue a full refund, minus any processing fees paid, per participant, up until seven days prior to the start date for the program for which the participant is registered. No refunds will be issued within seven days prior to the start date of the program. Program registrations are not transferable to other programs or participants, any refund requests will result in program registration cancellation. 

  • The BIO Girls Cancellation & Refund Form must be completed in order to process the cancellation and refund request. 

    • The Cancellation & Refund Request form must be completed seven days prior to the program start date to qualify for a refund. 

      • If the request meets the above requirements, the registration fee will be refunded less transaction fees and registration will be canceled.

Policy Review

This policy will be reviewed annually by the Chief Operating Officer.
