Fueling Financial Aid: First Western Bank & Trust.

All girls need and deserve BIO Girls.

Self-esteem is one of the strongest predictors of behavioral and emotional problems. And regardless of an adolescent girl’s upbringing, socioeconomic status, schooling and many more factors, they are highly likely to navigate feelings of low self-esteem.

This is why our proven & preventative programming is so important!

And why we’d never want the cost of BIO Girls to hinder a participant’s opportunity to partake in our 12-week program.

The BIO Girls financial aid fund ensures all girls a chance at our program, regardless of their ability to pay for programming. Our tiered registration system offers 100% financial aid, 50% financial aid and 25% aid to ease the burden of cost to families.

In 2024, we served 2,855 girls across ND, MN, SD, IA and WI. Of these participants:

  • 1,428 girls received full or partial financial assistance.

  • 784 girls received full financial assistance.

  • 629 financial aid receipients were on free or reduced lunch.

  • $292,345 provided in total financial assistance.

This does not happen without the support of our local community and partners like First Western Bank & Trust.

THANK YOU!

First Western Bank & Trust has been supporting the BIO Girls Find Your Kind 5K for the last two years as our financial aid partner. Their generous support provides financial aid dollars to local BIO Girls programs.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for your continued support of the adolescent girls we get to serve!
