Each year, the impact of BIO Girls spreads well beyond the number of girls participating in the program. One of the staples of our curriculum is one week dedicated entirely to serving others in our communities. Read about some of the 2019 BIO Girls service projects!

Friday, April 5th was a night to remember.  It was a night of support for the nearly 1,200 girls that will be impacted this year and the 2,200 girls that will be impacted next year by the BIO Girls program.

My daughter is in 7th grade and as a class project, groups are encouraged to come up with a product that solves a common problem. Think Shark Tank for 13-year-olds. I suggested that their group create a stocking holder with an adjustable arm. Great idea, right? The response from Olivia, “That wouldn’t win at state."

The journey, the WHY, and the momentum behind BIO Girls. BIO Girls will be impacting 1,000 adolescent girls in 2019: helping them build a strong foundation of self-esteem, teaching them skills to stand up to social pressures and providing a tool-box of life-skills for girls to access as they continue to grow.
