Richland Wilkin Community Foundation & BIO Girls
Since 2018, the Richland Wilkin Community Foundation has been an unwavering supporter of BIO Girls, funding our programs SEVEN times and answering the call each time we’ve needed support. Their generosity has played a vital role in expanding our impact, ensuring that more adolescent girls in Richland and Wilkin Counties have access to our proven mental wellness program.
What started in 2018 with a single location in Wahpeton, serving 32 girls, has since blossomed into multiple thriving programs across the region. Thanks to the dedication of our volunteers and the continued support from RWCF, BIO Girls has now served 532 girls across communities including:
Wahpeton
Breckenridge
Abercrombie/Colfax
Wyndmere/Lidgerwood
Campbell/Tintah
But it’s not just the girls who have been impacted—198 incredible volunteers have stepped up to serve, contributing over 2,500 volunteer hours to help shape the next generation of strong, confident young women.
As we prepare for another season, we reflect with gratitude on the support that has made this growth possible. RWCF’s commitment to our mission has allowed us to empower girls, build connections, and improve mental wellness in ways that will have lasting effects on these communities.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, RWCF, for believing in BIO Girls and standing alongside us in our mission. Because of you, more young girls will gain confidence, resilience, and the support they need to thrive.
Here’s to another impactful year ahead!
