2024 BIO Girls Annual Report
A Record Year of Impact
In 2024, BIO Girls empowered 2,855 girls through our proven self-esteem building program—a record-breaking milestone that underscores the growing need for our mission.
Today, 1 in 6 middle school girls has attempted suicide, and 1 in 3 reports struggling with poor mental health. These alarming statistics drive our commitment to preventing the mental health challenges facing our daughters, granddaughters, nieces, and loved ones.
At BIO Girls, we provide more than just a program—we offer hope and tangible results. In 2024, 70% of our participants reported increased self-esteem, and 50% experienced decreased anxiety, two critical indicators of mental wellness. Through BIO Girls, participants discover they are not alone in feeling lonely, unsure, or afraid. This sense of connection empowers them to:
Be themselves—finding the courage to embrace their uniqueness, stand firm in their values, and tackle challenges.
Build meaningful relationships—establishing connections with peers and positive adult role models.
Develop lifelong character traits—fostering resilience, confidence, and empathy that will guide them throughout their lives.
These accomplishments are only possible because of you—our volunteers, advocates, and donors. Volunteers are the heartbeat of BIO Girls, making our work with thousands of girls each year achievable. Advocates spread awareness, enabling our reach to grow and donors provide the fuel that powers our programs We are profoundly grateful for your unwavering support and dedication to our mission. Together, we are changing lives, strengthening communities, and building a brighter future for girls everywhere.
With gratitude,
