Meet Tara Bayerl!
Tara is our Site Director at our ROCORI, MN BIO Girls site. We are so grateful for her dedication to the BIO Girls mission! Thank you, Tara, for your time, energy, and effort in making a positive impact on girls in your community!
"Tara did a fabulous job. It would be wonderful if she would volunteer herself for the program next year.”
— Rhonda Green, ROCORI BIO Girls Co-Director
“Tara, along with many Site Directors worked through a few obstacles in 2021. She didn't hesitate to reach out and calmly work through the obstacles when they arose. Tara is calm, has a huge heart, and is uber caring. The first year as a Site Director is a year of lots of learning and that Tara did! We are very grateful for all your time and energy, great work this season!!”
— Angie Will, BIO Girls Programming Team
We asked Tara a few questions about her involvement with BIO Girls:
Why do you volunteer with BIO Girls?
“I volunteer for BIO Girls because I was looking for a program that I felt I could give back to the community and feel good about it. I feel self-esteem and personal growth are important especially raising two girls myself. I enjoy the variety that BIO Girls provides such as the life-skills lessons, Christian non-denominational devotions, and the non-competitive physical activity in the program.”
What would girls be missing without BIO Girls?
“I am a strong believer in the BIO Girls four pillars: Mental Wellness, Healthy Relationships, Leadership & Kindness.”
What is your favorite part about volunteering?
“My favorite part about BIO Girls is getting to know each of the girls. I see a difference when they first walk into the door to when we have our last session. I am very grateful!”
Tara —
The BIO Girls team, the participants you have made an impact on, and the ROCORI community sincerely thank you.
TAKE ACTION.
