Meet Michelle Hintz!
Michelle is our Site Director at our BIO Girls site at House of Prayer in Bismarck, ND. Michelle cares deeply for her community and is actively involved in changing its future for the better. She believes in the BIO Girls mission and what it has the potential to do for girls everywhere. She is passionate, dedicated, and expectant for her community’s youth. We are so grateful for all she does for the BIO Girls mission.

What do you do for work?
“I am the Minister of Discipleship at House of Prayer Lutheran Church.”
What is your favorite book?
If You Want to Walk on Water, You’ve Got to Get Out of the Boat by John Ortberg
What drew you to become involved with BIO Girls?
“My daughter was just a 2nd grader when I heard about BIO Girls. I couldn’t wait to be involved to give her this opportunity to be empowered by the lessons and have another adult role model in her life.”
Name one-way BIO Girls has impacted you personally?
“I have made so many connections through volunteering with BIO Girls. Just so many people that I maybe knew of or hadn’t met yet. It is so incredible to see so many different people come together in our community.”
In one sentence, how do you summarize what BIO Girls provides participants?
“Empowerment to be the person God made them to be.”
What do you think girls would be missing without BIO Girls?
“They would be missing a group that supports them and encourages them in this incredibly important time in their lives.”
Do you have a vivid memory or story that stands out to you from your time volunteering?
“I love the training runs when the girls are cheering each other on — it’s so great to see girls supporting each other!”
