Volunteer Highlight — Jordan Beckely
meeT Jordan Beckely!
BIO Girls Site Leader. Fessenden, ND.
INCREASING SELF-ESTEEM, One Girl at a TIme
Ready to kick off her second season in Fessenden, ND, this volunteer Site Director is all in on the mission of increasing self-esteem and improving mental wellness. In her own words,
"I volunteer with BIO Girls because I want to help girls see value and worth in who they are and were created to be.”
When it comes to aligning with the program, it’s a perfect fit for Jordan. The priorities of increasing self-esteem and improving mental health tie directly with her line of work and her overall vision for the next generation of strong, powerful girls!
When it comes to her favorite lesson, it’s not an easy decision, but ‘My Beauty Comes from Within’ takes the prize as she deeply values young girls understanding and believing their outside appearance has nothing to do with true beauty.
When reflecting on her favorite part of her volunteer experience at BIO Girls, Jordan is most thankful for,
“I’m so appreciative of the gentle weekly reminder of the mantras and lessons that we are all doing the best we can - we are beautiful inside and out, unstoppable, and here to make a difference in the lives of ourselves, our friends and family, and community!”
From the entire BIO Girls community, thank you, thank you Jordan! Your leadership in your community is making a huge difference in the lives of each adolescent girl you impact through BIO Girls and your daily work.
Keep shinning a light! It’s working!
