Volunteer Highlight — Cara Christenson
meeT CARA CHRISTENSON!
BIO Girls Site Leader at Oak Grove in Fargo.
ALL IN ON BIO GIRLS
Cara is looking ahead to year three as a BIO Girls volunteer serving the young girls at our Oak Grove site in Fargo. As a mother to a young daughter, Cara is incredibly passionate about the mission of BIO Girls. So much so, that she not only volunteers her time, she also financially supports our program each and every month as a Faithful Friend.
When we asked Cara to explain her ‘why’ to BIO Girls, we couldn’t help but feel so incredibly grateful to have her in our BIO Girls community. Not only for how she impacts each participant, but for how the program has positively impacted her.
“I say this with 100% honesty, being an adult involved in BIO Girls has changed my life. It’s made me a better mother, friend, coach, wife, daughter, and best of all, I’m kinder to myself. The content and connections with these young girls is so incredibly powerful.”
Queue the happy tears!!!
Cara, thank you for simply being you and for devoting so much time, energy and passion into the young girls in your community. You are making a huge difference, one girl at a time!
